006 — CONCEPT

A personal design exercise pushing mid century modern design into bolder, more expressive territory. The concept covers a full apartment - all spaces - with a vivid palette of orange, green, red, and yellow running throughout, grounded by the warm, considered forms of mid century furniture and lighting.

Muuto's design language heavily influences the decor selection - their distinctive lights and furniture pieces bring a Scandinavian mid century sensibility that balances the boldness of the colour choices without taming them. The result is a space that feels energetic yet cohesive, vibrant yet designed.

The ceiling tells its own story. Left entirely exposed, raw concrete, fire lines, and HVAC installations run overhead - a deliberate industrial counterpoint to the warmth and colour below. The contrast between the unfinished ceiling and the curated, colour-rich interiors beneath it is what gives the concept its tension and its character.
