005 — CONCEPT

A self-initiated concept exploring the moodier, more atmospheric side of industrial cafe design. The brief was to create a multi-floor cafe space that felt raw, warm, and deeply characterful, where every material choice contributed to a sense of lived-in, considered grit.

The ground floor sets the tone immediately. Rustic stone walls, dark flooring, and warm wooden accents create a moody, enveloping atmosphere. A pool table sits beneath a statement teal mesh chandelier - a deliberate contrast that adds a playful edge to the otherwise brooding palette. The bar area anchors the space with a textured metal backsplash, rough-edged and intentional, giving the service zone its own industrial identity.

A spiral staircase encased in a dark burnt wooden cylinder serves as the spatial centerpiece - connecting floors while doubling as a bold architectural statement. Moody lighting runs throughout, keeping the atmosphere consistent across levels and ensuring the space feels as good at noon as it does at midnight.
